The resources contain the material for each product (lesson text, sound and images).
For some products (for example Typequick for Students), these resources can consume quite a bit of space and so might be better installed centrally, although central installation has the drawback of increasing network loads as the machines running the TQ Clients draw on the resources.
For performance reasons, Typequick recommends that the resources be installed on each machine having a copy of the TQ Client if the product has a large amount of multi-media content (for example Typequick for Students).
If the resources are going to be installed centrally, then the resources should be installed before the TQ Client components are installed, as the TQ Client installation will try to verify that it has access to the resources. Refer to Find TQ Resources.
